About me
Let’s Explore Life’s Mysteries Together
Nestled in a cozy, North Georgia town a young, aspiring teacher sought to change the world. I quickly found it all: the dream job, new friends, and the love of her life. Everything came crashing down when we lost the baby. In a moment, nothing else mattered. The dream of motherhood alluded me until we got the call to care for two children.
Our empty nest became a bustling home to an infant and a toddler. Life, still, wasn’t finished with this roller coaster ride. Fostering led to adoptions and a move back to Kentucky. Instead of home sweet home, this young family found unemployment and instability. The traumas of the past came back to stir up trouble as the toddlers grew into teenagers.
I’ve turned these troubles into mysteries. I spent untold hours reading stories of sleuths cracking the cases and detectives solving the unthinkable. I joined Word Weavers International where others encouraged me to write through trauma. Solving cases in fiction soothed unresolved emotions. Today, I write mystery novels and encourage others through my blog.
